NC Swing!!
Alright so three days (76 hours), over 1,200 miles and two shows! Andy and I survived! I left Monday and headed to Charleston, WV. Got to have a quick beer with my friend Jenn, and then dinner with Andy. 5:00am we left Charleston and headed to Raleigh, NC. We got there just before noon and went straight to Walnut Creek.
Found a hotel and went into downtown to check it out and have a bite to eat. It was smaller than I expected. The downtown was under a lot of construction so it was kinda hard to get around. We did find this nice little place to eat before the show.

Then it was off to the concert! It was an amazing concert, my second favorite ever. The first time I ever got to hear Eh Hee live! The entire band was full of energy. Stone was incredible. I think Dave plays better the farther South you go....

Woke up and headed to Charlotte. It was only about 2 1/2 hours away. We found the Verizon Amphitheatre and got our tickets and then went to check out where the hotels were located.

They told us to go straight up the hill to the second light. We started up the hill and I looked over and there was Lowe's Motor Speedway. The concert was two miles from the Speedway. That place is pretty massive, especially when there are no cars or trailers around it. We grabbed a bite to eat and some beers. We hung out outside the hotel until we left for the show. It looked like rain at first, but it all blew over us.

Charlotte was another great show! They played a lot of stuff I didn't expect. Dancing Nancies, Loving Wings, and PIG!!!! We had great seats, where we could see the stage, and all the surrounding screens, plus we had plenty of Dance Space. They were not as strict as the Starlake pavilion. People were dancing everywhere.
Woke up on Thursday Morning and headed back to Charleston, WV to drop Andy off.

I got back around 6:00 pm. It was worth it! I had a blast, just a bit tired.
