Friday!!!

I should be getting ready for work. However, the sun is shining and I am just sipping some coffee and enjoying the morning. This weekend I plan on getting the garden ready. We have already planted about 60 perennials and new grass in the back. I love Spring and the way working outside makes me feel. I can't wait till all the flowers start to come up.
Justin and I celebrated a year! We made it. We went to G Love at Mr. Smalls. It was fun. I have misplaced my camera once again, so we bought a disposable. I haven't got the pics developed yet.
Work is going well. Next week I start a new shift. 9:00am til 7:00pm. It will be weird to get out of work before all the stores are closed and the sun is down. Hopefully this will help me get caught up on all the little things I have not been able to do. I am only on the shift for two weeks then it is back to the night shift. I don't mind. I have been working it for six months so it kinda grows on you. The only problem is when you get home you want to interact with friends and they are all asleep!
Well, I better get ready. I am excited about this weekend and Spring finally being here. I will post some pics soon!

Weekend Update

I had the best weekend. I thought at first I had so much to do and there wasn't anytime to see everyone. However, it worked out. Carm wasn't feeling well so we have postponed her birthday activities. Saturday morning Justin and I finally got the old box springs out of the upstairs. We borrowed a sawzaw (sp ??) and cut it into an accordion. Then we got ready for the evening. Joscelyn was coming and Justin had a gig in the area around my hometown. So we decided to pack bags and head to Smith field. We were going anyway to celebrate my parents 41st anniversary, so why not make it a sleep over.
Justin left to set up. Jos and I decided to go see the musical Grease at my High School. We met up with Mom, Sweet Pea, Anne and the girls. It was really good. I can't believe they got that many boys to participate and sing and dance. That would not have gone down when I was in HS. The drama club had like 5 people, one being my cousin Rebekah. I can't even remember a play they did. This one was very elaborate. I mean, I was impressed! It is weird because the play doesn't really follow the movie so much. I loved watching my Sweet Pea do the Hand Jive while sitting on Grandma's lap. Of course, every time they stopped dancing and singing or the lights went down, Pea would let us know "I am done". Then she was right back as soon as there was some entertainment. She is the BEST!!! I love that little girl!
Afterwards Jos and I went to my parents. I helped my Mom clean up a bit and then I was able to go out and see Justin play. I saw my best friends from High School, Missy K and Greg Olenar. I saw Greg a couple weeks back, but it was the first time I saw Missy in about 15 years. Nothing changed, we are all solid and still who we used to be. That is a great feeling. Justin rocked the house. He was better than I have seen lately. You could tell he wanted to play. It was a great time!
On Sunday, Mom and Dad took P and the Dominator to the meeting and Justin and I started getting ready to cook everything. We were so involved in getting things ready by the time people arrived I forgot that I had run bath water and didn't shower. Oh well, it's family and they love you no matter what. P helped me chop vegetables. She was so funny. I would cut an onion and she would say "Onions make everything better". Then I would cut garlic and she would say "My Mom loves garlic, garlic makes everything better". I had to let her put them in the bowl after they were cut so she felt like she was helping. She wants to be a very important part of everything. She cracked me up. She looked at a magnet my Mom had on the Fridge and it says something like "Amanda is a very special kid." She told me it said "My MOM is a very special kid". It was so cute she held it and walked around for a while with it. The Dominator is talking up a storm. No one knows what he says, but he is very convincing that he does. I asked P if she knew what he was saying and she said yes. I understand that because Amanda had her own language when she was little and I always knew what she was saying. Weird huh?
Anyways, it was awesome to be at home. There is something that house does for me that I can't explain. It makes me feel this emotion that translates into nothing can go wrong. I guess it is my safety net.
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! I Love you!

Wow! How time flies!

I can't believe it has been so long since I blogged. But I just logged on and obviously I am not the only slacker...hint hint..Meredith and Jenn! Well I have been super busy and kind of tied up in the relationship. It is getting better. My only goal is to fix what is not working. I have a positive attitude. I love Justin more than anything. I believe that that combination makes for success.
It is weird, when you start a relationship, you believe someone is the best! Then after the six month mark you start freaking out on all the little things that may be wrong. I refuse to be one of those people that dwell on the little things. However, the bigger things I am all about fixing. I just read some of my last post....wow! to go back months.
Sometimes it is like a light bulb that just goes off, but at the time you can't put your finger on it. By the time you have your finger on it, it is way more than you bargained for....Well, know this, everything will be great! I believe that. I have a strong sense about it. Relationships are hard, and quite honestly, I have never been one to stick around and work it out. Maybe I am growing. Stay tuned because it is only going to get better!

Catching up!

Wow! I can't believe it's been so long since I blogged. A few things have kept me away...
Work
Monopoly on Pogo
Work
Sleep
Monopoly on Pogo
Work....

I have become addicted to Pogo Monopoly. I dream about it. It's bad. Carmela turned Justin on and after sitting there for hours watching him play I figured it out. Now I am the one playing and he is watching. Well most of the time we take turns. It keeps me out of trouble!

Well the past two weeks or so have been, well difficult. I guess that happens in any relationship. A series of unforunate events turned into a lot of anger and frustration. However, after being completely honest and open with how I was feeling everything has turned out for the better. I think my new years resolution will be to communicate more effectively when I am upset. (Easier said than done) hahaha

Florida came and went so quickly this year. It was fun and great to have Justin and Joscelyn there. Here are some pics...

My Birthday!!!

It was great! It actually started on Justin's Birthday. He worked the entire weekend of my birthday so we exchanged gifts the week before. I got the most incredible necklace ever! I absolutely love it! Thanks Baby!
Justin played the night of my birthday at Tony and Cleo's then had to work midnight. My sister came over mid day and we played the wii and hung out until it was time to go to dinner. We went to T&C. My director and some other people from work met Justin, Amanda and I for dinner. It was a lot of fun. The food was good too!
Then Justin played and we hung out. It was wonderful to see everyone. I had a blast, maybe too much fun from the pics....Nahhh never too much fun!

Thanks Amanda for spending my birthday with me, I LOVE YOU!!!!
Thank you Eric for a safe ride home! Love you too!
And thanks Karen and Ben for the Kick A$S CD! I love it!

My Favorite Guys!

This was taken at the Ribbon Cutting for the Call Center. Probably one of the BEST days of my career. It was wonderful. The weather was a bit chilly but the sun was shining. Plus, I had my favorite two guys there with me. Did I say that I love my job? I do!

The scariest costumes ever!

I said they were scary costumes!

With that said....Please consider CHANGE this Tuesday.
