Just Sharing

On the job front......Nothing, not a word. I am trying not to dwell on it.

I have had a fabulous weekend. We bought a third of a cow from a fair. So Friday night Justin and I decided we were grilling out. We invited my Uncle Leebo and Tracee to come down for dinner. We had ribeyes on the grill, baked potatoes, and an asparagus linguine salad. There was a lot of garlic (straight from my sister's garden. Then we all headed to the Office to see Open Air Museum. It was a fun night.
Saturday was my friend Heather's bridal shower. It was perfect. It was outside and the weather was great. Later in the evening Justin and I met up with Heather and Brad, the bride and groom to be. We went to alpha and then came back here to the house late night. We stayed up way too late!!!! It was just so much fun to catch up and hang out with them. I hardly noticed it was 4am. Heather used to live at 108and it is where her and Brad met in 1995. So we did a lot of remember when....
Today Carmela and Cassidy are coming to visit. I haven't seen them in a month or so. I can't wait.

Back up a little over a week ago today. I was on a plane on my way to Austin for a second job interview for a training position. I was so excited! Austin is beautiful, and the music is second to none. I nailed the presentation and flew back home Friday evening feeling very confident and blessed. They said that I would hear from them the next week.
I was on vacation all last week. My sister and I went to Cleveland for a wedding. My cousin Rebekah married Eric. It was a very nice ceremony and I cried like a baby. I am super happy for them. I am glad we went to be there for their special day.




The next day Amanda and I went on a bit of an adventure.....We had the best beers and the best food in Geneva on The Lake. Here's some pics....





While I was in Cleveland I got a call from my DOS saying that the Director for the call Center was in town and I should get a hold of him for an interview. I called and left a message.

Justin and I went to meet my friend Jenn for a couple beers on Sunday afternoon when I got back and then we hit the Blues Fest down by the river. It was a really nice day and I had a great time. Here is a picture of the sunset. It was amazing.


Fast forward to Monday... I received a call from the Director to schedule an interview for today. So today I went to the interview and it went really well. It is for an ARSM position, which is a step up from the training position and my current position. The interview lasted almost three hours and he is a great person. Easy to talk to and very smart and funny too! I think I would learn alot working with him. He told me right on the spot that he was passing me on for a second interview with his boss next week. I have a good feeling about this!

So that is what's up! A Lot going on here at 108! My life is good, my boyfriend is the best, and hopefully I will hear good news soon from one or the other position! I'll keep ya posted. I am just very thankful for everything good right now.

This week has been one of the craziest weeks ever. Non stop and very stressful. I spent all day today cleaning and cooking. It felt good to just ease my way through a lazy Sunday. No rushing, no plans, it was great.

Lately I have been super edgey. I think it had to do with all the stress of last week. My head is all clouded and swirling. I am so thankful to be on vacation this week.

I find out about my interview this week. I am pretty happy with the way it went. I don't want to jinx it, but I have really good vibes.
