Just Sharing

Just got off the phone with a very dear and great friend from a long time ago. She has had a hard time of it this year so far. Her son was involved in a lawn mower accident at an early age and lost functions in his leg. Recently he had his leg amputated (his choice). She also just lost her job. And she is in the process of a very major surgery that will change her life.
What I love about her, she is always happy. One of those people that just beam goodness. She is genuine and what you see is what you get! She ended the call with "I am in the process of becoming a new me!" I told her I love the old one. But I know what she meant. The whole conversation just made me feel good! A blast from the past and a lot of laughs. I wish her the BEST! She is one in a million.

We had my sister's surprise baby shower today. My mother and her sister combined a shower for Amanda and one for My cousin Ty's wife and their little girl Averi. I kept the secret. It was tough when Amanda called me today and said she wasn't going. But it all worked out really well. I can't wait for the little guy to get here.

It was such a great time!

So I just arrived home from a week in Pittburgh for training. I was excited because I thought I would get to see G Love. That didn't work out. I had to do this presentation in a group, and we had a ton of homework. But it worked out, our presentation was great! I am tired though it was an exhausting week.

I don't know what is in the water here in Wheeling, but everyone is having boys. There is Hayden, who is the youngest, until Domenick arrives next month. He is so sweet. Then next in age is Oliver, who is the strongest little guy.
Last night I went to Mandy's for the evening to watch some Absolutely Fabulous. Tiff was there with her little guy Cash. He is a little giggler. It was fun. And I finally got to the bottom of what happened to my Salt N Pepa and Pat Benetar CD's, Mandy had them all along.

Memorial was this past week. It was great to see all my relatives. Penelope was a doll in her little dress and pigtails. Kaylee and Abby are growing up real fast. Maverick looked sharp in a suit. I think it may have been the first time I saw him in a suit since my Uncle Lee's wedding. All in all it was a great evening.

I have been having trouble loading pics to the blog. I try, it doesn't work, I get frustrated and quit.
So here's an update...
I had a great time on vacation in North Carolina. Kasey is really growing up. The weather was perfect.

Zac came in and went to Toots with Heather, Gary, Gary, and I. That was a lot of fun. I got the two-time from Toots! We went all the way up to the second row of people. Some guy stepped on my foot, he was a little out of it. But it was a good time.
